Sometimes, it's 9 at night at you just need.to.bake. Forget making or cleaning up dinner, putting away the laundry, and the three year old running circles around the house with a pretend hose putting out fires and using the dog as a fire truck. Oh wait, is that just me?

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
In a microwave-safe bowl or a small sauce pan, melt butter
and peanut butter until completely combined and smooth. In a bowl, combine
sugar and flour. Add butter to the mixture and mix until all ingredients are
combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at
350° for 28-32 minutes or until lightly browned and edges start to pull away
from sides of pan. Cool on a wire rack.
